Introduction

الإيضاح مجلة نصف سنوية تعني بالحضارة الإسلامية والبحوث العلمية، تصدر عن مركز الشيخ زايد الإسلامي بجامعة بشاور- باكستان. تأسست عام 1993م/ 1413هـ  ووضعتها هيئة التعليم العالي في مستوى "وائي" تصدر مرتين في سنة. والمقالات والدراسات الواردة في المجلة تعبر عن آراء أصحابها والمجلة ترحب بمناقشة تلك الآراء وإثراها.

Al-Idah is a bi-annual trilingual (Arabic, English, Urdu) research journal of Islamic Studies managed by Shaykh Zayed Islamic Center, University of Peshawar, Pakistan.  Hagher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has placed it in Category "Y". Its ISSN No is: 2075-0307. The journal is going to be upgraded soon in “X” Category by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. إن شاء الله

علمی و تحقیقی مجلہ “الایضاح” ،شیخ زاید مرکز اسلامی، پشاور کا ترجمان ہے. مجلہ کے مدیر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشاد احمد سلجوق ہیں. الایضاح اعلیٰ تعلیمی کمیشن (ایچ ای سی) سے “وائے” کیٹیگری میں منظور شدہ ہے اور اس کا آئی ایس ایس این نمبر 0307-2075 ہے. شماہی مجلہ الایضاح اردو، عربی اور انگریزی         زبانوں میں مختلف النوع جدید عصری مسائل پر تحقیقات شائع کرتا ہے. اشاعت سے قبل محققین کے مقالات کو ایچ ای سی اور مجلہ کے طے شدہ معیارات کے        مطابق تنقیدی جائزہ کے لیے ماھرین کے پاس بھیجا جاتاہے- الایضاح دیگر علمی و اسلامی مجلات کی طرح تفسیر ، حدیث، علوم القرآن، سیرت طیبہ،        تہذیب وثقافت، لغت و ادب اور فقہ وغیرہ میں معیاری و مثبت تحقیق پیش کر رہا ہے                                                                                   ۔

Abstracts of no more than 200 words summarizing the primary argument(s) and finding(s) in the article should be included at the beginning of the article.

 

Instructions for Authors

The Research Journal is published bi-annually. The medium of our Journal is English, Arabic and Urdu. The article should be clearly typed in double space, on one side of the page. Length should be 8 to 20 pages for articles and 5 or less for book reviews.
The copy of the article received by us becomes our possession and whether it is published or not, its return cannot be claimed. The article should be original, unpublished, research-oriented and follow the format of the M.L.A style sheet. References should be produced in the form of Endnotes and not Footnotes.
Mere didacticism is not entertained: instead, we prefer a critical and analytical approach. Furthermore, the subject should be of real significance for the Muslim Ummah, students and critics of Islam, and must cover, directly or indirectly, some vital aspect of it.
After a preliminary reading by the Editorial Board, the articles responding positively to these obligations are sent to referees/ experts on the concerned subjects. The final selection is made only after receiving the assessment of the referees.
The Editorial Board, however, reserves the right of excluding any article without showing cause for it.
Submitting an article for the Journal automatically implies that it is self-written, original, unpublished and without plagiarism. The contributor, not the Editor, will be legally responsible for responding to any objection in this regard.
The Editorial Board does not necessarily agree with the views of the contributor, and cannot be held accountable for any statement, comment or information.
Every writer of a published article is entitled to receive two copies of the concerned issue free of cost.
Two hard copies of the article and a soft copy on a C.D. or e-mail be sent to us.
 

Call for Paper

It our utmost desire that Al-Idah may become a leading platform to serve Islam and Muslims. we invite the scholars to address the contemporary issues that are crushing the Muslim Ummah so badly. it is high calling of these Ulema to offer solution to the crises that the Muslim Ummah has fallen into, for a common man is left floundering in the pro-western socio-ecomomic matrix.

Review & Publication Policy

Contributors will be required to guarantee that the manuscript presented to "Al-Idah" has not been submitted to any other journal for publication and is free of plagiarism.

References should be numbered consecutively. In general, all citations should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. The use of op. cit. is to be avoided. Quoted material should have full location reference.

Loanwords accepted in English usage should be spelled in accordance with the standard dictionaries. Other foreign words must conform to the transliteration system shown in the transliteration table of "Al-Idah".

Manuscripts meriting review will be read anonymously, usually by two referees. In most instances, authors can expect decisions on their work within 120 days. Because manuscripts receive expert review, and because the Editorial Board of "Al-Idah" is international in scope, this time may vary. The Journal retains the right to make changes in accepted manuscripts that (in the opinion of the editor) do not substantially alter meaning as well as for grammatical, stylistic and space considerations. Responsibility for the opinions expressed in the articles and for the accuracy of the stated facts however rests solely with the author(s) and not with the Editor/ Editorial Board.
